On September 12th, the XIII Bicycle Pilgrimage from Chicago sets off to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Merrillville to travel 36 miles, undertaking the pilgrim's effort and entrust matters to God through the intercession of the Mother of God.
BICYCLE PILGRIMAGE SCHEDULE:
7:30 a.m. – Meet at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Palos Hills – time for registration, organizing the pilgrimage, prayer, and a blessing to begin the journey.
9:00 a.m.– start of the pilgrimage – the route is 36 miles long.
Along the way (two rest stops):
2:00 p.m. – Scheduled arrival in Merrillville
Upon arrival:
After arriving, we will set aside time for rest and a hot meal (which is already included in the cost of the pilgrimage).
Then we will move on to the spiritual portion:
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place, during which there will be an opportunity for confession.
around 4:30 p.m.– The day will culminate with Holy Mass.
This year, we are foregoing a separate conference session—the Word of God will be explored in depth during a longer homily at Mass.

Registrations can be made in person at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Częstochowa and at the Doma Shipping & Travel at Robert Rd. in Palos Hills, outside the church in Palos Hills on the day of the pilgrimage or online.
